Sen. Aquilino Martin de la Llana Pimentel III expressed his disappointment in PCOO Mocha Uson and her co-host Andrew Olivar‘s video about Federalism.
Uson faced backlash after her co-host performed a said “vulgar” dance in a video to promote Federalism. The video that is posted on her Facebook account showed Olivar chanting “i-pepe” and “i-dede” while gesturing to his crotch and chest.
The Partido Demokratiko Pilipino – Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) president admitted in a statement that he was wrong to think that Uson could help regarding the information drive for Federalism. He further suggested that the Asec should take a break and study the political system.

“Di ko lubos akalain na bababuyin pala nila ang kawa ng Pederalismo. Ilayo na si Mocha sa Pederalismo. Mag-aral muna siya ng mabuti. Mag-leave muna siya”
Pimintel further clarified that he’s not angry with the controversial video, but he was “disappointed”.

Uson later uploaded a video on her page explaining that Concom and the government had nothing to do with the dance and it was just for the public to be informed about the government shift. She also stated that she is not the “Ambassadress of Federalism”.
“I am not the ambassadress of Federalism. I am only one of those who are helping on the campaign to promote federalism on social media,
“Pangalawa, hindi ako ang sumayaw diyan. It was Andrew Olivar.”
