There have been many times wherein the media has made mistakes on television, but on August 8, Balitanghali made a typographical error in one of their texts that went with Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque’s face.
In their transcription of Spokesperson Roque’s statement, they accidentally showed the word ‘bayag’ (balls) instead of ‘bayan’ (nation).
Bayag is the Filipino word for the men’s balls.
Siguro napakaganda po ang hangarin ni Asec. Mocha na pag-usapan itong pederalismo. Pero sa akin po… Mas importante po na pag usapan nating ang pederalismo sa pamamaraan na dapat po ay siguro mas seryoso dahil ito po ang pinakamataas na batas sa ating bayag, ang atin ngang saligang batas.

Netizens didn’t miss the mistake and poked fun on the amusing error.

Kami po sa Balitanghali ay humihingi ng paumanhin sa maling word graphics na nagamit sa pahayag ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque kahapon patungkol sa Federalism.
Nagkamali po kami sa pagbaybay ng salitang “bayan”.
Sinusuri namin ang aming mga panloob na proseso at pinag-aaralan ang nararapat na parusa sa mga nagkamali.
