Two Pakistani Brothers Rob Graves And Make Curry Out Of Human Corpse; Officials To Ban Cannibalism In The Country

Pakistan – In 2011, brothers Mohammad Arif Ali, 35, and his brother Mohammad Farman Ali, 30 were detained following a disappearance of a 24-year-old woman’s dead body from its grave. Investigations then led to their house wherein a cooking pot containing meat curry was found.

According to the Senior Police Officer that handled their case that year, the two seemed to do this as an act of revenge after their mother died and their wives left them. He also said that it has become an addiction for them.

Arif and Farman were only released last year.

The two convicted cannibals were rearrested after a gruesome sight of a three-year-old’s head was discovered inside their home in Darya Khan, earlier this year.

Police report stated the pair had dug up local graveyard, mined more than 100 human corpses and made a meal out of them.

Ameer Abdullah, the District Police Chief said they received complaints from residents about a foul smell coming from the suspects’ home.

We raided the house on Monday morning and found the head of a young boy. We have arrested one of the brothers, Mohammad Arif, and are conducting raids for the arrest of the other brother,” Abdullah said.

After numerous incidents, Pakistani lawmakers decided to ban cannibalism. They have filed a bill to outlaw digging up of a corpse for consumption or “use for magical purposes”. Robbing cemeteries for such intent would put perpetrators behind bars for ten years to life, and at least seven for eating human cadaver.
