LOOK: Plus-size woman proudly flaunts her curves in swimwear

  • Here is a woman full of positivity when she posted a picture of her wearing a sexy swimsuit
  • “I am often told that if I go on a diet and lose weight, I would be perfect.”
  • Always remember that you are perfect and there is nothing wrong with you just because you are fat

A lot of people get very conscious of their weight, especially when they are in the plus-size category. And most of the time, they become the center of talk and jokes.

But one woman was full of positivity when she posted pictures of her wearing a sexy swimsuit.

A Facebook user named Rhaizel Santillian Pacia posted her picture wearing a swimsuit to promote body positivity and self- confidence.

Her post went viral as it garners 13 thousand reactions and 11 thousand shares. On her post, she narrated some of the situations that plus-size woman often experiences.

“I am often told that if I go on a diet and lose weight, I would be perfect. Yung sasabihin sayo ng mga tao na maganda ka pero may “Kaya lang” o di kaya naman magpapayat ka mas lalo kang gaganda.”

These statements show concern but for the people to whom you have spoken these, slowly losses self- confidence and most likely choose to hide. It is more frustrating for most of them who already have tried to go on a diet and went for workout sessions just to please everyone, yet still their weight remain the same. It very easy to say slim down but it is actually really hard to achieve.

Rhaizel posted a series of questions to ask people who usually judge their physical appearances.

“Bakit ba hindi nyo matanggap tanggap yung katawan namin? Bakit kailangan pagtawanan? Bakit kailangan pagbulungan?”

That was also the question of a majority of overweight individuals on why they were not easily accepted by everyone, and why they are usually being bullied. Is their weight problem worthy of the judgment they received? Maybe we should think about it more wisely.

And for all plus-size women out there, here is Rhaizel’s message for everyone.

“So if you’re a plus-size like me, here’s my message for you, society can come up with a hundred reasons why we should feel bad about our bodies but don’t let that affect you. Always remember that you are perfect and there is nothing wrong with you, just because you are fat.”

It is also a struggle for most of them to find clothes that make them look good. That is why Rhaizel’s created PLASHCURVES where she sells clothes for plus-size bodies.

But it wasn’t her purpose to just sell clothes, but to be an inspiration to others to love and be confident with their own bodies.

And the end of her post, she dared all plus-size bodies to wear their sexy swimsuit this summer.

“Kasi kung kaya ko, kaya niyo rin yan noh lalo na summer na wag ka mahiya, mag swimsuit, go lang girl flaunt your curves.”
