A 62-year-old mother Maria Magdalena Austria went to Raffy Tulfo to help her reconcile with her daughter. A quarrel started when the mother requested her daughter to make sushi.
With the help of Tulfo, the mother wishes to reconcile with her daughters, after a long time of quarreling with them. But if her daughters won’t agree to her conditions, she wants them to leave the house.
Magdalena would like to show hospitality to their guest and she asked what they wanted to eat and the guest requested for sushi. As a proud mother, she called up her youngest daughter, an HRM graduate, to ask for help. But instead of being happy to be of help, her daughter got angry thinking that her mother just wanted to show off. After that incident, Irish Gryzel Galon and Kren Austria did not mind their mother, nor even spoke to her.
Way back in 2017, the family misunderstanding even got worst when the mother asked Kren about the loss of Internet connection. The mother asked her several times but the youngest daughter did not answer her. With the loss of patience, the mother got angry and slapped her daughter in the face. The daughter also slapped her mother with a slipper because of anger. Now, the mother just wanted to settle things with them again.
In an interview with the oldest daughter Irish, she told them that she was badly hurt when her mother spoke against her child and the mother explained that she just wants her grandchild to go to school to meet some friends, not like homeschooling.
The mother also told Tulfo that she was not in control of the house rules because her daughters are the ones who implemented their rules for their mother to follow. The only place that she still has her right to touch was her own bedroom, the rest she was prohibited.
Tulfo had the opportunity to speak with Kren and if it is okay for her to settle with her mother in a condition that she would not talk against her older sister Irish.
Tulfo got irritated because, for him, a daughter doesn’t have the right to give conditions to their mothers as respect.
Though Raffy Tulfo wanted to cast away her daughter, Magdalena wanted to give them a chance and maybe they would change their minds and reconcile with her, but if they don’t agree, she has no choice but to let them leave the house.
To clear things out, Tulfo decided to bring everyone to the barangay hall to settle things with the Barangay Captain. And face to face, they poured out their sentiments.
The mother was the one who asked for forgiveness to her daughters for the wrong things she had done. Irish also accepted her mother forgiveness as she was also sorry for what she has done to her mother. But Kren would only forgive her mother if she will see her mother’s sincerity.
After a week, the Raffy Tulfo in Action team visited mother Magdalena and found out that they have reconciled.
