Real friendship goals is when four friends are topnotchers in the recently concluded bar examination.
The said four law students are from the University of San Carlos in Cebu. They are close friends with one another, were in the Top 10 passers of the bar exam.
The number two spot went to Marcley Natu-El, the son of a retired general who scored 87.53% in the exam.
He was inspired to pursue law because he was a recipient of the ABS-CBN Medal of Excellence Award and was able to see the significance of lawyers in the country given that the country is filled with dangers, at an early age.
“I don’t think that’s enough to stop me from pursuing my dream of helping other people,” he said.
His friend Mark Badayos landed in third place with a score of 85.84. Badayos is very experienced in debating as he was one of the winners of ANC’s Square Off Season 13 and has participated in most court competitions overseas.
In addition, he said that things became easier for him during his review in Manila as he was around people whom he was comfortable with.
He stressed, “It’s easier to go through the journey, if you have unified struggles, you have unified goals.”
The two other friends, Jebb Cane and Alen Pita are in the 9th and 10th spot, respectively.
The University of San Carlos, for four consecutive years has had law graduates in the Top 10.
According to them, the institution teach high quality education and bring out the best out of their law students.
