No time for love: Vico Sotto chooses to sleep on his free time than look for love

29-year-old Vico Sotto, who was recently proclaimed as the newly elected Mayor of Pasig City, seems to be the most eligible bachelor in town. The mayor is the son of known showbiz personalities Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes.

In an exclusive interview of Lei Alvis on GMA Network’s “24 Oras,” she asked him if he has a girlfriend and he replied: “Wala.”

“Wala talagang time.’Pag may free time ako, mas gusto ko pang matulog o magpahinga na lang,” he explained.

He also said that it’s okay to stay single for now, so he could be more focused on his responsibility and promises to all Pasigeño, as their mayor.

“For now and for the foreseeable future, tingnan na lang natin. Diyos na bahala kung papano mangyayari,” he added.
“Siyempre, eventually, gusto mo rin naman di ba. But for now, focus-focus muna.”

In 2016, Vico Sotto had started to serve Pasig City as a councilor. Now, he is the new mayor of Pasig City after winning over re-electionist Robert Eusebio, who held the position for 27 years with the Eusebio clan.

When he won in the 2016 elections, he never imagined that he would run in 2019 but he saw the need for change so he decided to run as mayor.

“I saw the need, I saw the clamor for change, and I saw that no one else was going to run for mayor so I decided to step up.”
