The legendary Technical Drafting teacher of Tagum City amazes netizens with her drafting skills

  • The teacher skillfully drew some roof plans in detail and lettering on blackboards using chalk
  • Netizens were amazed by her skills and some of her students still remember how she teaches her students
  • She always sets her high standards on her students just like the effort she gave to her students while teaching

Students are the number one fan of teachers who also happen to be their second parents in school. A teacher would always showcase their skills and talents to make their teaching significant to their students, so learning comes in and becomes memorable.

One student named Joanna Fe A. Taboada posted on her Facebook account some photos of her Junior High School teacher, Mrs. Susana J. Albarracin, with the caption: “The Legendary Technical Drafting Teacher of Tagum National Trade School.”

In her post, she uploaded some stolen photos on Mrs. Albarracin during her actual teaching. The teacher skillfully drew some house plans in detail and lettering on blackboards using chalk. Netizens were amazed by her skills and some of her students still remember how she teaches her students.

In an interview with Dailypedia via messenger, Joanna told us that Mrs. Alabarracin is known as a ‘terror teacher’ in their school. She always sets her high standards on her students just like the effort she gave to her students while teaching.

Mrs. Albaraccin’s approach to teaching students is learning by doing and always reminding her students to stop complaining, even though the activity she gave was difficult to make; because she’s the first one to demonstrate and her students follow her to be guided.

She taught her students to be more sensitive and understanding in the future by letting them experience how hard it is to make those technical drafting plates.

Mrs. Albarracin always told us “what if magkaroon kami ng mga trabahante sa susunod tapos lagi lang kami nag co-command without knowing ang hirap na ng pinapagawa. It is also for us to sympathize, alamin po namin ang hirap.”

Choosing Technical Drafting as a specialization means overnight drawing but Mrs. Albarracin doesn’t only teach them how to draw some house plans; she also taught them landscaping and planting vegetables.

“Hindi lang yan ang tinuturo at pinapagawa ni maam, nagmukha rin po kaming Agriculture and Landscape artist, sa pagtatanim ng mga gulay at pagtatambak ng lupa,” Joanna said

She never left her students to do the activities because she was the one who showed how it is done, before she let her students do the task she gave. Joanna would never forget her experiences with her technical drafting teacher and so with the other students who were under her subject, because of the learning they got from her.
