- Joshua was sworn in then was notified that his house was burning
- He did not get the chance to take a picture of himself with his license
- His friend is asking for donations
Joshua, who is a CPA graduate, was sworn in last June 17. He wasn’t able to take pictures of his achievement because several minutes after he took his oath, he received bad news that said his house was on fire.
His friend @aretheyy made a thread on Twitter.
“This is Joshua. A loving son & brother, a good friend, a registered CPA. Shortly after he was sworn in, they received news that their home was razed by fire, along with his documents and the clothes he was eager to wear the next morning for his first day at work.”
Please lend me a couple minutes of your time

@aretheyy asked for donations for his friend.
“Shortly after he was sworn in, they received news that their home was razed by fire, engulfing in flames all that they have. Along with documents and even the work clothes he was eager to wear the next morning for his first day at work.”

“With only one thing in mind; the safety of every family member, he went straight home. Not even being able to take a picture with his license back at the ceremony.”
“He is a good friend of mine. An org mate whom I have shared a lot of my college experiences with. I am kindly asking for anyone who can extend help to the family. They are in need of ready-to-eat food, toiletries, blankets, clothes, towels, and if possible a financial aid.”
“Sharing this would mean a whole lot as well. I know it is too much to ask but I believe a small amount of help can go a long way especially if everyone of us can contribute. If anyone of you is willing to help or contribute please do leave a reply or send me a DM.”

Anyone willing to donate can directly message @aretheyy on his Twitter, or you can meet up with him at the food court of SM Taytay.
