Filipino singer Nik Makino is under fire for allegedly stealing a beat of Roko Tensei’s song “Relax.” The “Neneng B” artist is set to be sued by the music producer.
The similarity was noticed by Tensei even before “Neneng B” became a viral sensation and gained over a million views on YouTube.
Though it became a trend on social media platforms, the original music video was deleted from the streaming site due to alleged copyright infringement issues.

Roko Tensei is a musician and producer from Europe. He has made a post on his Twitter saying that the Filipino artist stole his beat which made him decide to file a case on November 20.
“Philippino artist @nikmakinobish Stole my beat ”Relax” for his song ”Neneng B”. Nik owes me a lot of money and I want to make this public because I am about to SUE him (on the 20th),” Tensei stated.

He then added that he has already gathered his lawyers for the legality of the process and to make things clearer. The Filipino artist also allegedly ignored his emails.

In a follow-up tweet, the international producer said that everything was processed and they signed an agreement. They have also put the video back on YouTube.
This song has garnered more than 10 million views in the six months that it has been up on YouTube.
