- It is very likely that Coco Martin will not be responding to Robin Padilla’s allegations anytime soon
Coco Martin was part of the human chain of ABS-CBN supporters last Friday, February 21. His presence was much-needed. The actor said that all they want is for the franchise renewal to follow through.
They weren’t looking for any trouble and they came with a peaceful vibe.
Coco acknowledged the hard work and effort of all the staff and employees do behind the scenes.
But not everyone is pleased with the actor. Coco’s name was mentioned by Robin Padilla, saying that the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor poured water on a sleeping audio man back in 2018 during a taping of an episode.
A text message from a source of Abante Tonite stated that this might have happened.
Robin brought up Coco when he replied to a netizen’s comment on his Instagram post regarding his opinion on the ABS-CBN franchise renewal situation telling the actor to not ‘bite the hand that feeds you’.
Robin said he did a lot of films but did not enjoy doing them because of what he has seen behind the scenes. He proceeded to mention incidences regarding Coco, saying that the latter poured water on crew members who were sleeping because of fatigue, and had a heated exchange with a location manager.
One netizen said that Robin is just saying this because he personally does not like Coco. Peace be with you.”
Coco’s camp is denying these allegations based on screenshots posted by @cocomartinph on Instagram.
An insider said that Robin wasn’t even on the set of the show so he was not getting first-hand info.
“Very irrelevant naman yung statement ni Robin, he was not there when that was all happening.”
The insider then said that Coco really does care for his crew.
“The set was our playground and that’s what made the crew and him get closer. That’s what made them bond.”
“And he does care about the entire crew, he makes sure that everyone eats on time, have their breaks on time and on top of that, in every party that he was sponsoring he makes sure that people had their own fair share,” the insider added.
A netizen also claimed that they saw the crew and Coco having fun with pouring water on each other while running around the set.
Veteran entertainment reporter Lolit Solis was then triggered when Padilla brought up the issue from two years ago.
Kaya the best way is to keep quiet…
Iyon kay Robin Padilla, parang all bark no bite ang dating. Talagang you cannot argue with success,” she added.
In a recent lengthy Instagram post, Solis made it clear that she is not mad at Robin Padilla. She was just pissed off that he had to mention other celebrities who have nothing to do with his cause.
Solis believes what Robin did wasn’t becoming of a man and completely unacceptable.
Robin said that he will not attack Solis nor respond to her comments towards him. He added that he believes that the water pouring incident really did happen.
“God is great!
Just like Robin Padilla, Mocha Uson is also getting bashed from all angles by netizens for her hypocritical comments toward Coco Martin’s award-winning film Serbis.
The Mocha Uson Blog Facebook page recently posted screenshots taken from the indie film.
“Tulad ng salitang disente, mukhang nagbago na din ang ibig sabihin ng ‘in the service of the Filipino’ or Baka naman serbis?” went the post.
Netizens found it very ironic that Uson would criticize Coco for being in a very explicit film when in fact Uson is mostly known for her sexually explicit behavior and videos.
Netizens expressed their regret in defending Uson from those who slut-shame her because it had nothing to do with her political beliefs.
