- Robin Padilla told the trolls to stop after ABS-CBN apologized to President Duterte.
- He said that they’re all there to lessen the gap between the President and the media giant.
- The action star also commended Senators Hontiveros and Dela Rosa.
One of the most talked-about issues recently is the pending franchise renewal of ABS-CBN. The story has already experienced some twists and turns after Solicitor General Jose Calida’s bid to void ABS-CBN’s franchise.
Action star Robin Padilla recently spoke about the matter on his Instagram account. He stated that his only wish is that subordinates would also be heard in the next sessions about the renewal.
“Ang dasal ko lang sa susundo naman na mga session o hearing concentrate na tayo sa maliliit na tao buksan na natin ang libro ng manggagawa ano ba ang dapat at tamang natatanggap ng mga maliliit na manggagawa yun mga nasa grinding area yun mga nasa init ng araw at hamog sa gabi.”
He also told the trolls sending hate messages to ABS-CBN to keep quiet as the broadcast station’s CEO and President Carlo Katigbak already asked for President Rodrigo Duterte’s forgiveness regarding the airing of his presidential election campaign.
“Nag apologize na ang CEO ng ABSCBN kaya kayong mga troll at sumasamba sa abscbn manahimik na lang kayo isa lang ang Dios ko at pinagkakautangan ko sa buhay ko ANG ALLAH lang wala ng iba… hindi kayo nakakatulong sa pag aayos ng franchise nakaisang hakbang na nga ang frankisa isabotage niyo pa. Dios mio tumulong kayo at magdasal kayo para diretsong magkaayos sunod kayo ng sunod sa mga demonyo ninyo sa paligid ninyo. Hindi ninyo alam ang isyu dito wag kayo magmarunong. Kayo ang manahimik dahil ano ba ang magagawa ng bunganga ninyo para maayos ito?”
He pointed out that Senator Bong Go has said that he would talk to President Rodrigo Duterte about ABS-CBN’s apology.
“Sabi ni senator bong go he will appeal ABS-CBN to the president he will be the one to tell the president number one the public apology, number two about the workers ano pa ang gusto nyo?” Padilla asked the supposed trolls.
Padilla has continued to express his support for the current administration amid the ABS-CBN franchise renewal issue. He stated that the network should just admit its black propaganda last 2016 elections.
He praised Senator Risa Hontiveros after she said that ABS-CBN should implement changes to benefit its workers and not just during franchise renewal season,
“Dapat genuine ang pagkalinga sa mga 11,000 manggagawa at hindi lang dahil may banta ng pagsasara,” she said.

Padilla agreed and said that he has the same opinion as Hontiveros.
He also praised Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and said that he’s a real war hero and defended him form DJ Chacha who told the senator to resign for being loyal to just the President, not the country.
“Hindi naman manipis ang mga yan pero wag naman for the sake of their service wag natin po kalimutan ang mga kabayanihan ng mga taong ito literally they made the Pilipino spirit live in the hearts of our countrymen especially to our soldiers and policemen who are on call in giving their life and sacrificing their most precious families. The Man is the meaning of duty to the country and loyalty to the Flag whatever he is accused now and presently undergoing sanction from a foreign government we should be on his side how can we talk about freedom when senators from another country are exerting their sovereignty on us.”
